Imminent Terrorist Attacks?

Lately, the Singapore Public Warning System(PWS) has been going off alot.
And I mean ALOT.

"The Public Warning System (PWS) is a network of sirens that the SCDF has placed at strategic points throughout the island. The purpose of this system is to warn the public of imminent threats that could endanger lives and property.

The Public Warning System will be used to warn of attacks from the air, land or sea, as well as natural and other man-made disasters. The table below shows what the various signals mean. It would be a good idea to memorise them."

It's like kind of a weekly routine now. Every weekend u'll get a giant nationwide alarm waking you early in the morning. Here's what it sounds like if u don't get the whole picture.

Is the Sg government getting jitty or are they just too bored? And with so, so, so many terror precaution ads on public transports, it just imprints the thought of an imminent attack on the minds of everyone here.

Its like telling the terrorists out there, "Hey, we DARE u to bomb us =)" Seriously, they should at least cut some slack for the people here. Just look at their neighbors up north, their prime minister sleeps on the job and still no one has the balls to nuke them. =)
